Unit 8: Thermochemistry and Gas Laws
Worksheet 2 (Number 3) and Worksheet 6 (Numbers 3, 5, and 6) are worked out in this video. W2#3 is a good example of a combined gas law problem and W6#3 is a good example of a straightforward ideal gas law problem. W6#5 shows how to use the ideal gas law to solve for density and W6#6 uses the ideal gas law to solve for molar mass.

Worksheet 6 (Number 10) and Worksheet 5 are worked out in this video. W6#10 uses the ideal gas law to solve for the molar mass of a gas. Worksheet 5 applies Dalton's law of partial pressures by summing the pressures to get the total pressure as well as by applying the mole fraction.

Problems on worksheet 7 are worked out on this video. Worksheet 7 has problems that apply Graham's Law to compare the rates and effusion times of gases. It can also be used to identify the molar mass of a gas as shown in #5.
